Application:
The Z-Tie Holder is another method for attaching walers and can also be used for strongbacks. The Z- Tie Holder is used in combination with waler ties which come in two lengths to accommodate
double 2"x4" and double 2"x6" lumber walers. Once the waler tie is fastened to the forms with standard wedge
bolts, the lumber is positioned on eachside of the tie then the Z-Tie holder is slipped over the tie and the wedge
is pushed down to tighten the assembly. |
